We have Paul’s Gypsy feet to thank for the latest edition to the company portfolio. During a recent pilgrimage, the Camino De Santiago, serendipity intertwined his path with two American adventurers, sparking an enduring friendship.
Sil, a passionate air crew member, emergency responder and avid travel blogger, had always yearned to visit Africa (one of the few places she had not been).
Mavrican was thrilled to facilitate her trip, leveraging their hospitality connections and local knowledge to make the experience as authentic and cost effective as possible.
Sil followed Mavrican’s recommendations and immersed herself in the heart of South Africa, embracing its essence like a seasoned local.
Clearly enamoured, within months she returned, this time venturing into the untamed wilderness of the African Bushveld, notably Kruger Park and the Pilanesburg, effectively sealing her fate — her soul now irrevocably tethered to Africa.
Sil, now armed with a passion for the African continent and her own wandering spirit was eager to share the South African experience with her compatriots and colleagues, many of whom believed that African safaris were prohibitively expensive.
Mavrican’s resources and capabilities, including our very own “adventure chef” places us in an ideal position to dispel that myth. These unique assets seamlessly complement Sil’s network within the Aviation community and her reach through social media sites and travel blogs.
So, when the words “let’s start a travel business” were muttered, the idea was embraced with the characteristic Mavrican enthusiasm.
